We sped forward in rewind

Accompanied by neon splashes over the glass

Then with windows down; heads cocked out;

We tasted the coolness of the night

With our eyes shut

Lids glued like palms in a salvation prayer—tightly

And then, the tranquil wind poured right in!

To bathe our souls and the feelings we patrol…

The Full Moon shone brighter in recognition from up above

Successfully waking up its lover hiding in some nook of our spirit

And we gawked skyward,

Hypnotically

In a trance that till date pulsates
